Official Release Date Announced For Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life'
Chennai, November 7 - Legendary Kamal Haasan's action drama film Thug Life with maverick director Mani Ratnam will have a grand worldwide release on June 5, 2025, the makers officially announced on Thursday with a teaser.



Recently, it was reported that the film might be released during the Tamil New Year weekend on April 10 and clash with Prabhas-fronted The Raja Saab. However, the official update has put rumours to rest and confirmed that Thug Life will hit the big screen a month later.





Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies, Thug Life reunites Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam after 36 years. This is one of the most-anticipated Tamil movies of 2025 and the new glimpse has raised the expectation high.





The Kamal Haasan-fronted film boasts a rock-solid star cast that also includes Silambarasan, Joju George, Ali Fazal, Ashok Selvan, Pankaj Tripathi, Nassar, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami Gopikumar, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jisshu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Vaiyapuri in key roles.
