PM Narendra Modi Lauds Telugu Cinema For Spreading Indian Culture Beyond Boundaries
Hyderabad, February 5 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the Telugu cinema for spreading the Indian culture beyond boundaries. PM Modi was addressing the public after inaugurating a 216-foot tall "Statue of Equality" in Hyderabad, honoring the 11th-century Hindu saint Ramanujacharya.
During his address to the public, the PM spoke highly about Telugu cinema and its impact on the audience. In his long speech, the PM said that Telugu cinema has become inspirational for all the way it has showcased the Indian culture not only in India but also at the global level.
"Today, the Telugu film industry shining bright in its all glory. This industry is not just confined to the places where Telugu is spoken, but it has expanded globally. From the silver screen to the OTT platforms, the creativity of Telugu cinema has become a talking point. The preservation of culture and honoring our traditions by the Telugu people is an inspiration to all", PM Modi said.
The Telugu film industry is rightfully on the rise for the last few years and making a big impact on just the Telugu audience but also on the Hindi-speaking people. From Prabhas' "Baahubali" to Allu Arjun's recently released "Pushpa - The Rise", Telugu movies are doing wonders in Hindi. Balakrishna's "Akhanda" was lauded for its story. No wonder our Prime Minister also acknowledged the popularity of Telugu films.
