Pooja Entertainment Issues Statement Amid OTT Speculations Of Bell Bottom

Mumbai, May 1, 2021: The makers of Akshay Kumar starrer "Bell Bottom", have issued an official statement amid the speculations of direct OTT release. The statement came after a section of media claimed that Bell Bottom will skip theatrical release and will directly premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar.

And now, responding to such reports, Pooja Entertainment took to social media and shared a statement. "Pooja Entertainment would like to quash all speculation in some section of media regarding the release of our film "Bellbottom". Any announcement regarding the impending release of the film will be made by Pooja Entertainment at the opportune time. Nobody other than Pooja Entertainment has the mandate to make any statement with regards to any development with the film".



"We would like to request the media to support us as you always have and refrain from publishing any information that is not officially communicated by us", the statement read.

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bell Bottom is a spy thriller film. It stars Akshay Kumar as the lead character, with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi in other prominent roles. Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani under the banner of Pooja Entertainment, and Emmay Entertainment.

As of now, the movie is scheduled to release on May 28 in theaters.
