Prabhas-Fronted 'Kalki 2898 AD' Release Date Officially Revealed

Hyderabad, January 12 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi dystopian epic Kalki 2898 AD is officially set to open worldwide theatres this summer, on May 9. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie's release date was revealed on the big screen ahead of its online announcement.

Kalki 2898 AD is easily one of the biggest Indian films of 2024. The makers will announce the official release date online today with the hype riser solo poster of Prabhas. As reported earlier, a 1-minute and 23-second teaser of the movie was also censored yesterday (January 11) and it will be released soon.



Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD is an epic mythological-science fiction dystopian film that stars an ensemble cast featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles. Made on a budget of around 500 crores, it is one of the most expensive Indian films ever.

The movie will be released on May 9, 2024, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil, along with some international languages worldwide.
