According to the latest development, the epic drama film has been certified with a clean "U" certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with approved official run-time of 179 minutes (2 hours and 59 minutes), making it one of the longest Indian films of the recent past.
"Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana, so it was expected to get a clean certificate from CBFC. It stars Prabhas as Lord Ram alongside Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Laxman, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, among others.
