Prabhas' 'Adipurush' To Be Postponed To Summer 2023?
Mumbai, October 30 - Prabhas fronted magnum opus Adipurush has reportedly been postponed to the summer of 2023. The makers are expected to make the official announcement of the postponement of this Om Raut's directorial in the coming days.
"Adipurush" is currently slated for January 12, 2023, release on the occasion of Sankranthi. Sankranthi 2023 festival is jam-packed with big-budget South Indian films including Chiranjeevi's "Waltair Veerayya", and Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Veera Simha Reddy".
It is said that the makers of "Adipurush" have been finding it difficult to get theaters in Telugu states due to multiple other releases and they have reportedly informed Telugu distributors about opting out from the Sankranthi race.
Though the makers are yet to make the official announcement, reports say the movie will now release in the early summer of 2023. "Adipurush" is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Raut's Retrophiles. It will release in multiple languages in IMAX and 3D.
"Adipurush" stars Prabhas in the title role along with Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, and Sunny Singh as Laxman, among many others in key roles.
