Prabhas' 'Adipurush' To Release On Over 6200 Screens In India
Mumbai, June 9 - The countdown has begun for Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" which releases on June 16 worldwide in multiple languages in 2D, 3D, and IMAX. The movie directed by Om Raut has been one of the most anticipated ones in India and is expected to take a bumper start at the box office.
With less than one week remaining before the release, the makers are gearing up to open the advance booking of the movie on June 11, Sunday, according to Pinkvilla. There is a huge curiosity among moviegoers for the movie that is expected to score one of the biggest advance sales for an Indian movie post the covid-19 pandemic.
"Adipurush" is a Pan-Indian movie, shot in Hindi and Telugu languages and dubbed in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. It has different distributors in each language and according to the report, it will release on over, at least, 6200 screens nationwide, and the final count might touch 6500 screens.
The Hindi version, which will be released by Anil Thadani, is expected to get over 4000 screens. The movie will have the widest release in India this year.
Produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations, "Adipurush" stars Prabhas as Lord Ram alongside Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman, Said Ali Khan as Raavan, and Devdutt Nage as Hanuman, among others.
