Prabhas Opens Up On Why He Chooses To Do 'Radhe Shyam'

Hyderabad, March 11 - Superstar Prabhas has returned to the romantic genre after a decade with Radha Krishna Kumar-directed "Radhe Shyam". The actor has made an image of a Rebal star over the years with a dollop of high-octane action and has been successful in doing that.

"Radhe Shyam" is a unique love story film that is very known for Prabhas, who said that he wanted to do something different from regular action films. Opening about the same, he said that 'Radhe Shyam' also has a sprinkle of thriller and is India's first film with retro visuals, dresses, and color mix.



"I wanted to do something different not like action, action, and action... I wanted to do something different so that I could do some experiments more in the future. So, we thought we'd do a love story or something different. I heard 3-to 4 scripts and planned to do this", the Baahubali actor said.

"Radhe Shyam", which also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, has been released in theaters on March 11. The songs and promos have received a good response so far and Prabhas hopes that the film lives to the expectations and does well.

Prabhas has previously done two romantic films such as "Darling" (2010) and "Mr. Perfect" (2011). "Radhe Shyam" is a period romantic drama, which revolves around the story of Vikramaditya, a palmist who is conflicted between destiny and his love for Prerana, played by Pooja.
