Prabhas' 'Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire' New Release Date Locked

Hyderabad, September 1 - Superstar Prabhas' long-awaited Pan India movie "Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire" has been postponed from its originally announced September 28, 2023, release date. It is said that the post-production work needs some more time as well as makers reportedly wants to add an item number which will be shot later.

Producer Hombale Films hasn't made the news about postponement official yet but multiple reliable industry sources have confirmed that development. It was also reported that the makers eyeing December 2023 or Sankranthi 2024, release date, but now, it has been revealed that the movie is getting ready to release in November this year.



According to veteran trade expert and critic, Taran Adarsh, Hombale Films will bring the movie in November 2023, and the exact date will be announced shortly. There are rumours about Christmas release, but that is highly unlikely considering that December is already packed with multiple big films.

"Salaar" is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films. It is director Neel's first movie since mega blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 2" last year. The film stars Prabhas in the title role alongside Prithivraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Tinnu Anand, among others.
