Prabhas' 'Salaar With Director Prashanth Neel To Also Release In IMAX Screens

Bengaluru, June 21 - As Pan India superstar Prabhas' "Adipurush" is underperforming after the gigantic opening weekend, the focus is now gradually shifting to his next film Salaar with KGF makers, director Prashanth Neel and producer Hombale Films.

Ever since the movie was announced, the talks widespread regarding whether it could become a bigger blockbuster than "KGF 2". The makers haven't released much content about the movie so far but the first look glimpse got a huge positive response which increased the hype.



Now, as the release is getting nearer (September 28), Hombale Films is gearing up to unveil the teaser and other stuff. In between the teaser talks, it has been revealed that "Salaar" will also have an IMAX release other than the regular 2D format. It is said that works related to the IMAX format upgrade are in progress.

"Salaar" has been the most hyped film of Prabhas since "Baahubali 2", and the makers are hopeful that it will create new records at the box office. The movie has Shruti Haasan as the female lead while it also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Eeswari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Saran Shakthi, and others in significant roles.

The makers have reconfirmed the release date for September 28 with a countdown to 100 days. The teaser is expected to be launched in the first week of July and it will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
