Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nayanthara's 'Gold' Release Date Locked?
Kochi, November 15 - Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara's long-awaited Malayalam romantic comedy-drama film Gold with director Alphonse Puthren is finally getting ready to release in theaters.
According to the latest reliable reports, the much-awaited film will be hitting worldwide theaters on December 1 this year. It was initially set for worldwide theatrical release during Onam in September 2022, but due to the delay in post-production, makers postponed the release.
"Gold" marks Alphonse Puthren's return to direction after seven years since "Premam" (2015). The makers are keen to bring the movie on December 1 before James Cameron's Hollywood biggie "Avatar: The Way of Water" takes over from December 16.
Produced by Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, the story of "Gold" unravels between the incidents that take place within four days of Joshi, a mobile shop owner who purchases a new car owing to a marriage alliance that is almost fixed with a girl called Radha.
