Producer Allu Aravind Gives Big Update On Nitesh Tiwari's Epic 'Ramayana'
Hyderabad, October 18 - It is known to everyone that producer Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts along with Madhu Mantena, and Namit Malhotra announced that they would be producing the epic Ramayana for the big screen and it would be made as a trilogy.
Nitesh Tiwari was attached to direct this mammoth project. However, with not much development happening, the uncertainty over the project was looming large. Just when things were looking bleak, producer Allu Aravind provided a big update on the same.
During a recent interaction on a Telugu talk show, Allu Aravind was asked to comment on this mega project. The producer confirmed that the movie is on and will go on floors in the summer of 2023. The pre-production on the same is going on for the last 18 months and might take some more time before the makers are completely satisfied with their preparation.
The star producer reiterates the fact that "Ramayana" will be a mammoth and the costliest film Indian cinema has ever made. As for the casting of the movie, the makers haven't made anything official yet but Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are believed to be the front runners to play Ram and Ravan, respectively.
