'Raid 2' Trailer To Be Launched On Ajay Devgn's Birthday

Mumbai, March 17 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn will next be seen in the crime investigation thriller Raid 2, the sequel to his 2018 box office hit Raid. Raj Kumar Gupta directs the movie which also stars Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in prominent roles.

Raid 2 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Bollywood films. It is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2025, and according to the latest reports, the trailer of the film will be launched on Ajay Devgn's birthday which is on April 2.



Starting with the teaser/trailer, the movie will have a month-long promotional campaign which should be enough for it which is already looking like a potential blockbuster. Raid 2 is a proper commercial flick with mass appeal and the franchise value is a big advantage.

Produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series, Raid 2 will explore a 100-crore tax evasion case involving a businessman. The protagonist and his team will confront the powerful businessman and his supporters within the system as they work to expose white-collar crime, risking many personal stakes.

The movie has been shot in multiple locations in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi and is currently in the post-production work. Meanwhile, the first film was a big hit at the box office, grossing over 150 crores worldwide.
