Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan To Reunite After 32 Years
Chennai, June 11 - The stalwarts of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are all set to reunite for a feature film after 32 long years. The duo has worked together in films like "Hum", "Andhaa Kaanoon", and "Geraftaar" to deliver memorable performances.
According to the latest reports, the icons of Indian cinema will be coming together for a film, to be directed by "Jai Bhim" director TJ Gnanavel and to be produced by Lyca Productions. The movie will reportedly feature Rajinikanth in the lead role while Big B will play an important role in "Thalaivar 170".
The official announcement regarding the casting of Amitabh Bachchan is yet to be made but reports say that the legendary actor is very much a part of the film. The last time Rajinikanth and Big B were seen together was in "Hum" which was released in 1991.
Rajinikanth is currently shooting for "Lal Salaam" in which he is playing a cameo role. The movie is directed by his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush and is produced by Lyca. Big B, on the other hand, is shooting for "Section 84" and also has "Project K" and "Ganapath" in the pipeline.
