Rana Daggubati Reviews Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari: Chapter 2'

Mumbai, April 13 - The anticipation for superstar Akshay Kumar's biographical historical drama Kesari: Chapter 2 is building up with the release date getting closer. The movie, directed by debutante Karan Singh Tyagi, is based on the life of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought for the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Scheduled to be released on April 18, Kesari 2 is one of the most anticipated movies, and the words of praise by actor Rana Daggubati have further boosted the hype for it. The actor, under his family production house, Suresh Productions, will release the movie in Telugu.



On Saturday, Rana took to social media and lauded the film. The actor revealed that he has watched the movie and called it a must-watch, powerful, and important film. "Just watched an incredible historical courtroom drama — Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. A powerful, important film that stands tall and stays deep with the Indian in you".

The film is produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films. A spiritual sequel to Kesari (2019), the plot is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire. It stars Akshay Kumar in the role of C. Sankaran Nair alongside R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday.
