Rashmika Mandanna To Play Female Lead Opposite Salman Khan In Sikandar

Mumbai, May 9 - National crush Rashmika Mandanna is all set to star alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in director AR Murugadoss's action drama film Sikandar, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

There have been many speculations regarding the female casting for Sikandar but it is said that Sajid Nadiadwala was on the lookout for a fresh pairing as the script demands that at the writing level. The script was narrated to Rashmika and she instantly said yes to come on board.



It will be the first time when Rashmika will be sharing the screen with Salman Khan. The pre-production work has already commenced and the makers are set to take the movie on floors in June in India, followed by international schedules.

Rashmika has a strong lineup of films. The actress will next be seen in the highly-anticipated Pan India movie Pushpa 2 - The Rule alongside Allu Arjun. It is scheduled to be released in August this year. She will then be seen opposite Vicky Kaushal in the historical action drama Chaava in December this year and then Sikandar on Eid 2025.

In between Pan India and Bollywood films, Rashmika has a couple of Telugu movies in the pipeline.
