Record-Breaking Viewership For 'Singham Again' Trailer

Mumbai, October 8 - The trailer of director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again has brought in record-breaking viewership for a Bollywood movie which is easily one of the most anticipated titles of the year.

Starring Ajay Devgn in the title role, the Singham 3 trailer scored a massive 138+ million views across social media platforms which is the highest ever for a Bollywood movie trailer, according to the makers. It has surpassed views of Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Jawan.



Singham Again scored 52 million views on YouTube and over 60+ million views on Instagram across multiple accounts in the first 24 hours. The buzz around the movie has been increasing with each passing day and the viewership to the trailer indicates the same.

Talking about the views of the trailer on YouTube, it was launched on Reliance Entertainment and Jio Studios' channels. With 52 million combined views, this made it the third most-viewed Hindi trailer ever, after Dunki (58+ million) and Adipurush (52.15+ million) in 24 hours.

Singham 3 is being hailed as Avengers of Cop Universe by fans. The positive reception from audiences, added to a huge viewership could lead to a box office juggernaut as the movie is set to open in theatres on November 1st, on the occasion of the Diwali festival.



Produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, alongside Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios and Devgn Films, the movie stars Ajay Devgn in the title role, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. It is the fifth instalment of Shetty's Cop Universe and a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014).
