Rishab Shetty's Blockbuster 'Kantara' Storms IMDb, Book My Show, And Google Ratings

Bengaluru, October 16 - The latest talk of the tow, Kantara is having a blockbuster run at the box office. Produced by Hombale Films, Kantara is not only minting huge money but also setting the review ratings on fire on multiple platforms.

As announced earlier, Kantara is the highest-rated Indian film of all time on Book My Show. The BMS rating for the film's original Kannada version is 99% from 84.5K votes at the time of writing this piece. Not just the original Kannada language, the dubbed Hindi version is also currently rated 95% from 16K+ votes, which is one of the highest ever in Hindi.



The Telugu and Tamil versions of the film are rated 95% (11.7K+) and 90% (3K+), respectively, which is again one of the highest in these languages. On IMDb, Kantara is the highest-rated Indian movie with a 9.5 rating out of 10 from over 20,000 users.

On IMDb, over 89% of total users have rated the movie with a perfect 10 while around 5% of total users have given 9 ratings. Among the total users of Kantara on IMDb, 5% are from the USA and have given an average of 9.2 ratings to the movie. The Google ratings are also super solid for the movie with 98% from over 15K Google users.

Produced by Hombale Films, the movie involves the culture of Kambla and Bhootha Kola. A human and nature conflict where Shiva is the rebellion who works against nature. A loop leads to war between villagers and evil forces. It stars Rishab Shetty as a Kambala champion, who comes to loggerheads with an upright DRFO officer, Murali (Kishore). Achyuth Kumar and Sapthami Gowda feature in supporting roles.
