Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara: Chapter 1' First Look Teaser Gets Huge Response On YouTube

Bangalore, November 28 - The first look teaser of Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1, a prequel to his mega-blockbuster "Kantara", is getting an excellent response across social media platforms. The film is being directed by Rishab Shetty who also plays the lead role.

"Kantara 2" will focus on the origin folklore story which was shown in the first movie that was released last year. The first look poster and teaser, which showcased Rishab Shetty covered with blood and gave a sneak peek into the birth of the legend on whom Kantara was based, was released on November 27.



The teaser has been trending across social media platforms and on YouTube, it is trending at number 1. The teaser is made available to watch in all the languages in the single video which has so far scored over 12 million views on YouTube with over 750K likes.

Hombale Films, which scored massive success last year with "KGF: Chapter 2" and "Kantara", is producing the upcoming film. The first movie was made on a low budget of around 15 crores, but the makers have increased the cost for the upcoming movie multifold to make it more grand and massive in scale.
