SSMB 28: Superstar Mahesh Babu's Next To Release In August 2023

Hyderabad, January 15 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu reunites with director Trivikram Srinivas for his next film, tentatively titled SSMB 28. The shoot for the same commenced last year but the actor reportedly wasn't happy with the script and how the shoot was progressing as the makers scrapped the shot portions to plan things differently.

Despite the issues, it didn't take makers too long to rectify those, and now, the makers are ready to start production from January 18, confirmed by producer Naga Vamsi. Pooja Hegde was already on board as the female lead and now, Sree Leela has also been roped in for the second female lead.



"SSMB 28" was originally announced for April 2023 release but due to the delay in the shoot, producer Vamsi confirmed that the release has been postponed and the movie will now be hitting theaters worldwide on August 11, 2023, during the Independence Day week.

Produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations, "SSMB 28" is one of the most anticipated Telugu films and it is surely going to spread magic at the box office. The music of the film will be composed by Thaman S who recently won National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikuntapuramulo" (2020), directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
