SS Rajamouli's Two All-Time Blockbusters Set To Re-Release In Theaters

Hyderabad, February 23 - Blockbuster Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's two all-time blockbuster films are getting ready for re-release in theaters. The maverick filmmaker has directed 12 films so far with a 100% success ratio.

The period action drama film, "RRR" has been one of the trending topics over the last year. Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, the movie was a massive hit across the globe as it got immense respect from some of the all-time great filmmakers. In the West, "RRR" has been the most talked about Indian film and it continues to remain in the news.



"RRR" was originally released in March 2022 and had a long run at the box office. In North America, it grossed close to $15 million, and now, it is set to re-release there. Distributor Variance Films has confirmed that the action epic would be re-released in over 200 theaters in the USA, starting March 3.

The Oscars 2023 buzz is increasing for "RRR" and distributors are trying to cash in on the opportunity by re-releasing it in theaters. Variance Films films also announced that they would be organizing the world's largest screening of RRR in Los Angeles on March 1st at the Theatre at Ace Hotel.

While "RRR" is getting re-released in the USA, Rajamouli's one more blockbuster, fantasy action film "Magadheera" will also be released in theaters worldwide. The Ram Charan-fronted epic was originally released in 2009 and was the highest-grossing Telugu movie of the year.

"Magadheera" will be re-released worldwide on the occasion of Ram Charan's birthday. It will either be re-released on March 25 or 26. Some of the biggest Telugu hits have been re-released over the last few months, and "Magadheera" is another film in that list.
