Salman Khan Acquires Hindi Remake Rights of Ravi Teja Starrer Telugu Movie Khiladi?
Mumbai, June 11, 2021: Telugu star Ravi Teja's action thriller movie, Khiladi is yet to hit the theater screens, but it seems the movie has already caught the attention of Bollywood. According to the latest development in Bollywood, superstar Salman Khan has reportadly bought the Hindi remake rights of Khiladi.
It is reported that Salman enjoyed that the recently released trailer of Khiladi, and he looked interested to make its Hindi version. He has reportadly approached director Ramesh Varma, who has helmed the Telugu version, to direct the film's Hindi version as well. However, there's no official word either from Salman Khan or the makers of Khiladi yet on the Hindi remake.
Produced by Satyanarayana Koneru, Khiladi stars Ravi Teja in a dual role along with Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Dimple Hayathi in prominant roles. Sujit Vaasudev and GK Vishnu are the cinematographers of Khiladi. The Telugu movie was supposed to release on May 28 but the covid-19 pandemic forced the makers to postpone it. The new date is yet to be announced.
Interestingly, Salman Khan is also reportadly in talks to star in the Hindi remake of 2021 Tamil blockbuster, Master starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. The Hindi remake rights of Master have already been bought by Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani of Cine1 Studios along with Endemol Shine India, and 7 Screen Studio.
