Salman Khan To Start Shooting AR Murugadoss' 'Sikandar' from June 20

Mumbai, May 24 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start shooting for director AR Murugadoss' action drama Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna in June this year. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie will be released on Eid 2025.

According to a report by Mid-Day, Sikandar will go on floors on June 20 with a power-packed schedule in Mumbai. The pre-production was reportedly begun a few days ago and the makers are on track to start rolling it in June this year.



Murugadoss is presently directing actor Sivakarthikeyan's Sk 23. It is said that the filmmaker wants to complete as much of SK23 as possible before Sikandar goes on floors and to avoid any delays, Murugadoss has assembled a dedicated team to expedite the completion of SK23.

Salman Khan has already begun his preparations for the movie and it is said that the actor insists on performing the action sequences himself. He has modified his workout regimen to achieve a chiselled physique.

Sikandar is scheduled to be released on Eid 2025.
