Salman Khan-fronted 'The Bull' Casts Trisha Krishnan As The Female Lead?
Mumbai, December 28 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reuniting with producer Karan Johar after 25 years for an action drama based on a real-life incident and the actor will be playing a paramilitary officer for the first time in his career.
Tentatively titled The Bull, the movie will be directed by National Award-Winning director, Vishnuvardhan. And now, according to the latest reports, actress Trisha Krishnan has been cast to play the female lead role in the film that is officially getting launched on December 29 at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai.
Subject to the official announcement, "The Bull" marks Trisha's return to the Hindi cinema after 13 years. The actress was last seen in a Bollywood movie in 2010 when she starred opposite Akshay Kumar in "Khatta Meetha", directed by Priyadarshan.
While the film will be launched on December 29, the regular shoot will commence in February 2024 and the makers will start constructing the set in mid-January. Salman will be shooting from February to August. The official announcement of the film is expected to be made early next year and the movie is likely to release on Eid 2025.
Trisha, meanwhile, was last seen in "Leo" with Thalapathy Vijay. The actress has multiple films in the pipeline, including Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's "Thug Life", Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Vishwanbhara", and Mohanlal's "Ram", among others.
