Mumbai, March 10 - It seems like Salman Khan is in no mood to play another spy agent other than Tiger. He was, however, in talks to play RAW agent Ravindra Kaushik in director Raj Kumar Gupta's "Black Tiger", but with no development on the film yet, the project has reportedly been shelved.
Raj Kumar Gupta has been making his best efforts to bring Ravindra Kaushik's life to the big screen since 2018 and even approached many A-list Bollywood stars before it lent to Salman, who reportedly agreed to play and also produce the film. According to the latest development, the filmmaker has shelved the project and he doesn't see any development on it anytime soon.
"Raj Kumar Gupta has called off the Black Tiger project. The rights to unfold Ravindra Kaushik’s emotional and remarkable story to the big screen that he had bought five years ago from his family has expired now. And the filmmaker has not renewed it as he still doesn't see the film happening anytime soon. Salman has also shown his apprehension about playing yet another spy when he already has YRF’s biggest spy franchise, Tiger, in his hands", a peepingmoon.com report states.
Salman, meanwhile, has completed the filming of YRF's highly anticipated "Tiger 3", which is slated to release on April 21, 2023, on the occasion of Eid. He is now gearing up to commence the shoot of Sajid Nadiadwala's "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali" from April 1st week. Before that, the superstar will shoot for his extended cameo appearance in Chiranjeevi's "Godfather" from March 12 for nearly 10 days.
Apart from the aforementioned films, Salman Khan is expected to begin "Dabangg 4" after wrapping up KEKD. He also has a "No Entry" sequel, and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2" in the pipeline.
