Salman Khan's films won't release on OTT platform, says his close friend
In the whack of the coronavirus pandemic which is looking relentless at the moment, the entertainment industry that was completely shut for almost three months is now slowly but steadily looking to get back on its feet as the nationwide lockdown is opening up. However, the release of the films is still looking uncertain as theaters are yet to open.
In between all this, the OTT craze is increasing day by day. Many 'A' lister actors have already made their digital, on the other hand, the uncertainty over re-opening of cinema halls due to COVID-19, the makers are approaching the OTT platform for releasing their movies.
However, one of the biggest stars of the Bollywood Salman Khan is one of those actors who is neither interested in the digital platform nor he is in a hurry to release his films until the situation gets normalize.
A very close filmmaker friend of Salman explained why Salman is carefree about his films in between the OTT chaos. He said, "Bhai's (Salman) movie will not release on the digital platform. His fans love to watch his movies in theaters nor would any producer has thought of his movies to release on the OTT platform".
He further said, "Salman Khan's two movies, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali are underproductions and Salman Khan is one of the producers in both the films. Not only this, the script of Salman's third film is also ready during the lockdown which will also be made under Salman Khan production. His movies will never release on OTT platform".
Among the 'A' lister actors Akshay Kumar and Amir Khan are ready for the digital debut but Salman Khan is not willing to do web series as of now, no matter how much amount he has been offered, revealed his friend.
FYI, Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was supposed to release on Eid 2020 but now has been postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 while Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is scheduled to release on 16 July 2021.
