Sanjay Dutt Officially Confirmed Onboard For Thalapathy 67

Chennai, January 31 - Bollywood actor is all set to make his Tamil film debut with the highly-anticipated action drama film Thalapathy 67. The reports about Sanjay Dutt doing the film have been making noise for a long time and the makers finally confirmed his participation.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Thalapathy 67" marks Sanjay Dutt's maiden collaboration with the director and Thalapathy Vijay. "When I heard the one-liner of Thalapathy 67, I knew in that exact moment I had to be a part of this film and I'm thrilled to start this journey", Dutt said.

Produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio, "Thalapathy 67" was officially announced yesterday, January 30. The filming, however, has already started on January 2, 2023, and is going on at a brisk pace.

The announcement regarding the rest of the cast is yet of made but reports say Trisha Krishnan is playing the female lead along with Arjun Sarja and Gautham Vasudev Menon in key roles. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by Philomin Raj, and production design supervised by N. Sathees Kumar.

The makers are eyeing the October 2023 Pan India release of the film in multiple languages.
