Sanjay Dutt Officially Joins Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 5'

Mumbai, July 13 - Actor Sanjay Dutt has officially confirmed on board comedy entertainer Housefull 5. He will star alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan in the prominent role in the film, to be directed by Dostana fame Tarun Mansukhani.

Sanjay Dutt is the newest member to join the Housefull franchise and it marks the reunion of Akshay, Riteish, and Abhishek after Housefull 3 (2016), directed by Sajid-Farhad. The 5th instalment of the blockbuster franchise by producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandon Entertainment is one of the costliest Indian films with a budget of over 300 crores.



Housefull 5 will start shooting in August and entirely be filmed on a cruise ship in the UK. The major part of the movie will be shot in the 45 days of the first schedule and the entire cast will join the schedule. The casting for the other actors is currently underway.

Housefull 5 will be released on June 6, 2025.
