Satyadev's Legal Crime Thriller Film, Thimmarusu To Release On July 30 In Theaters

Hyderabad, July 8, 2021: After four back-to-back digital releases, talented Telugu actor Satya Dev's next film will be a theatrical one. The movie, titled "Thimmarasu" is all set to release in theaters on July 30.

The legal crime thriller film is going to be the first Telugu cinema to hit the cinema halls post the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, Thimmarusu is the remake of the 2019 Kannada film Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni which itself was based on the 2017 Korean movie New Trial.



Produced by Mahesh S Koneru and Yarabolu Srujan under East Coast Productions, S Originals, the movie tipped to be a legal crime thriller. It also stars Priyanka Jawalkar and Ajay in the prominant roles. Sricharan Pakala has composed the music of the film.

Satyadev was last seen in the Netflix anthology drama film, Pitta Kathalu. Consisting of four short film segments, Satyadev featured in the 4th segment, titled "Pinky", directed by Sankalp Reddy and written by Nanda Kishore Emani.

Meanwhile, Thimmarusu's theatrical release comes as a confidence booster for other Telugu filmmakers. As theaters are slowly opening up in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, many films are gearing up for release in theaters. The Telangana film chamber had also requested producers to release their films only in theaters.
