Selfiee Trailer: Superstar Vs Superfan War Promises A Crazy Fun Ride

Mumbai, January 22 - The Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi has joined hands for the first time for director Raj Mehta's comedy-drama Selfiee. It is the remake of the Malayalam movie "Driving Licence" and also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty as the female leads.

The trailer of "Selfiee" was launched on Sunday (January 22) and going by the first look at the trailer, the movie promises a crazy fun ride between a movie star and his fan. Akshay Kumar plays the role of a superstar while Emraan plays the role of an inspector who happens to be his die-hard fan.



The trailer shows how a misunderstanding leads to escalating into a feud between the two which is played out in front of the entire country. The trailer also shows both Akshay and Emraan having a dance-off on the recreated version of the song 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari'.

"Selfiee" is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in association with Prithviraj Sukumaran's Magic Frames. It marks Prithviraj Sukumaran's debut in Hindi cinema production. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on February 24.
