Shakuntala Devi biopic to premiere on Amazon Prime Video

A day after Shoojit Sircar's 'Gulabo Sitabo', Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra starrer 'Shakuntala Devi' is all set to release on Amazone Prime Video. It is a biographical film based on the math wizard Shakuntala Devi who was also known as the "human computer"

The film features national award-winning actress Vidya Balan in and as Shakuntala Devi along with Sanya Malhotra in the role of Shakuntala Devi's daughter. The film is based upon the life of a math wizard who nicknamed 'human-computer' for her ability to make complex calculations within a second. The film also stars Amit Sadh and Jisshu Sengupta in key roles.



The film is directed by Anu Menon and he has also penned it along with Nayanika Mahtani and Ishita Moitra. It is produced by Sony Pictures Networks India and Vikram Malhotra under his banner Abundantia Entertainment.
