Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao's Blockbuster 'Stree 2' Trailer Scores 100+ Million Views In The First 24 Hours

Mumbai, July 19 - The hugely-anticipated trailer of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted horror-comedy Stree 2 was dropped on Thursday, July 18. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios.

The trailer of Stree 2 has been receiving super positive talks and has increased the buzz further. In the first 24 hours, the trailer has scored 100+ million views across social media platforms, as per the official post by Maddock Films.



On YouTube, the nearly 3-minute-long trailer was launched on Maddock and Jio Studios' channel and scored 38+ million views in the first 24 hours. It is one of the most-watched Indian movie trailers of the year and easily one of the most-watched for Maddock Films' production.

As said, Stree 2 is the fifth movie in Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), Bhediya (2022), and Munjya (2024), and a sequel to Stree which is currently the highest-grossing film in the Maddock's horror-comedy universe.

Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee, the movie will be released on Independence Day, August 15, and will clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa at the box office.
