Sidharth Malhotra Locks Three Films After Dharma Productions' 'Yodha'
Mumbai, December 11 - Actor Sidharth Malhotra, whose last theatrical release was "Thank God" in 2022, is set to headline back-to-back films on the big screens. The actor is awaiting the release of Dharma Productions' action thriller "Yodha" which is scheduled to release in March 2024 after being postponed from December 2023.
After "Yodha", Sidharth will be doing three more films as things stand today. The actor doing a film, tentatively titled "Spider" to be produced by Maddock Films. It is expected to commence filming early next year and it will be his immediate next after "Yodha".
Recently, it was revealed that Sidharth is in talks with Meghna Gulzar to headline a film based on a real-life story. It will be produced by Junglee Pictures and the shoot for the same is expected to commence in mid-2024 for 2025 release. It will be Meghna's next after "Sam Bahadur" which is currently playing in theatres.
Now, according to the latest report in Pinkvilla, the "Shershaah" star is discussing an action film with filmmaker Siddharth Anand. It is said that Sidharth wants to do more films in the action space and he has initiated talks with Sid Anand for the same.
The report says that Sid Anand will be producing the movie under his banner Marflix and it will be directed by debutante Rohan Khambati who worked as the action designer on tentpole films like "Jawan" and "Pathaan". The film is in the early stage of discussions and is expected to go on floors by the end of 2024.
