Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' Locks Release Date
Chennai, July 17 - Actor Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited biographical war action film Amaran, based on the book series, India's Most Fearless by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, has been confirmed to hit the big screens on October 31, 2024, in multiple Indian languages.
Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan (played by Sivakarthikeyan), a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. Mukund Varadarajan was posthumously awarded Ashoka Chakra for his actions during a counterterrorism operation.
The movie is produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sony Pictures Films India, and it also stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead alongside Bhuvan Arora, and Rahul Bose, among others.
Amaran will be released on the occasion of the Diwali festival on October 31 and will clash with multiple other films in different languages. The makers announced the release date of the movie with a fierce poster featuring Sivakarthikeyan.
