Sony's 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' Release Date Preponed In India
Mumbai, May 18 - Sony Pictures' Marvel computer-animated superhero film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse release date has been preponed in India from its original June 2, 2023, release.
Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, "Across the Spider-Verse" moved by one day and will now be hitting Indian cinemas on June 1st in 10 languages, including the original English language. The reason for the preponement is unknown.
The studio previously announced that star Indian cricketer, Shubman Gill will be the voice of Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar in Hindi and Punjabi languages. The new trailer of the movie will be unveiled today.
Sony Pictures India announced the new release date with a new poster. "Get ready, India! The moment we've all been waiting is right around the corner. With Spider-Man: Across the #SpiderVerse, meet the FIRST Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, web-slinging his way into your hearts like never before!"

Releasing Pan-India in 10 languages for the very first time; on June 1st.
The movie is set after the events of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" (2018) in which Miles Morales is unexpectedly approached by his love interest Gwen Stacy to complete a mission to save every universe of Spider-People from the Spot, who could cause a catastrophic disaster. Miles is up for the challenge, where he and Gwen journey through the Multiverse together and meet its protectors, a group of Spider-People known as the Spider-Society, led by Miguel O'Hara. However, Miles finds himself at odds with Miguel and the Spider-Society on how to handle the threat.
