Sunny Deol Shares Big Update On 'Border 2'
Mumbai, August 30 - Bollywood star Sunny Deol is basking on the mega blockbuster success of "Gadar 2: The Katha Continues". This Anil Sharma's directorial movie, which is the sequel to all-time blockbuster "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha", has crossed 600 crores at the global box office and still going strong.
After the historic success of "Gadar 2", it was recently reported that Sunny Deol and director JP Dutta have been discussing the sequel to "Border" which is one of the biggest blockbusters of all-time in Indian cinema. It was reported that "Border" will revolve around Indo-Pak war in 1971 and would go on floors next year.
Now, Sunny Deol share a big update on the sequel and confirmed that the talks are indeed on. During the recent interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, the actor said that "Border 2" was being made earlier but was shelved when his films flopped. "We wanted to do this even earlier. I remember in 2015... But then my film didn't work. So people were scared to make it. Now everyone wants to make that!"
Sunny further said that the talks regarding the sequel are going on and he will do it if the story is good. "I will first hear it, and if I feel it has any substance, I will obviously do it. But woh baat aani chahiye, because I am very instinctive", he added.
The next film for Sunny Deol is multistarrer action drama "Baap" which will release next year. There are reports about "Apne 2" as well as confirmed by the actor himself during the success meet recently.
