Sunny Deol's First Look From Much-Awaited 'Gadar 2' Revealed

Mumbai, January 3 - One of the all-time blockbusters of Indian cinema, director Anil Sharma's "Gadar" announced its sequel in October 2021. The eagerness to watch Sunny Deol as Tara Singh has been there among the fans for a long time and they finally got their wish when the makers confirmed the blockbuster.

On Tuesday (Jan. 3), Zee Studios released a 50-seconds-long montage video teasing the audience with its upcoming movies of 2023. The studio will be releasing 28 films across languages this year and one of them will be Gadar 2. In a blink-and-miss appearance in the video, the studio revealed the first look of Sunny Deol from the movie.



In "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha", Sunny Deol had a theater-shaking moment when he uprooted a water pump to dodge a violent mob, and now, in the sequel, director Anil Sharma going to recreate that iconic moment with a slight change. As seen in the video clip shared by Zee Studios, Sunny Deol can be seen lifting a cartwheel to fight baddies.

Soon after the video was shared online, fans took to Twitter and share their excitement over Sunny's first mass look and started trending #Gadar2. The story of "Gadar 2" reportedly takes place many years after the first part. In the first installment, Tara Singh crossed the border to bring his wife Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) back. Utkarsh Sharma plays the role of their son, Jeete.

Gadar 2 is scheduled for release in the first half of 2023.
