Superstar Mahesh Babu Reviews Prabhas-Fronted 'Kalki 2898 AD

Hyderabad, July 9 - As Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is running riot at the box office, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has shared his thoughts about the movie and the talent involved.

Taking to social media platform X, Mahesh Babu lauded director Nag Ashwin for his futuristic vision as he called every frame of the movie, "a piece of art". Speaking about the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, the Pokiri star called his screen presence "unmatched" while lauding Prabhas for carrying "yet another magnum opus with ease".



Mahesh Babu also congratulated Vyjayanthi Movies and the entire team for the phenomenal success of the film at the box office as it is nearing 900 crores gross collection worldwide.

Kalki 2898 AD is the first instalment in a planned Kalki Cinematic Universe. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, the film follows a select group on a mission to save Kalki, the unborn child of SUM-80, a lab subject. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
