Superstar Mohanlal's 'L2: Empuraan' Unveils New Poster

Kochi, May 21 - On the occasion of superstar Mohanlal's birthday today, the makers have unveiled the new poster from the big-budget political action thriller film L2: Empuraa, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran who also plays a key role in the movie.

Empuraan is the sequel to the blockbuster Lucifer (2019) and is currently the biggest Malayalam movie in the production. The new poster shows Mohanlal looking stylish in an all-black ensemble and a pair of black sunglasses. He is reprising his role as Khureshi Abraam aka Stephen Nedumpally from the first movie.



The movie is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah and Antony Perumbavoor under the banners of Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas. L2E also stars Shakti Kapoor, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sachin Khedekar, Manoj K. Jayan, Bobby Simha, Baiju, Sai Kumar, Nyla Usha and Saniya Iyyappan in key roles.

The shoot of the movie is in progress and it will be released in 2025 in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil languages.
