Superstar Rajinikanth Reviews Prabhas-Fronted 'Kalki 2898 AD'

Mumbai, June 29 - Superstar Rajinikanth watched director Nag Ashwin's ambitious sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD and lauded the filmmaker for taking Indian cinema to a "different level". The movie stars Prabhas alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, among others in key roles.

Superstar Rajinikanth took to social media after watching the film which he called an epic cinema. The legendary actor also praised producer Ashwini Dutt along with the cast and crew while expressing his excitement for the Kalki Part 2 which has reportedly completed 60% of the shoot and the remaining part will resume soon.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD is running riot at the box office, already crossing 250 crores gross worldwide in just 2 days. The film is heading for 500 crores gross in its 4-day opening weekend which will make it the 6th Indian movie to do so in the first weekend.
