Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' Announces October 2024 Release; Date Revealed

Chennai, April 7 - Tamil superstar Rajinikanth teamed up with Jai Bhim director T. J. Gnanavel for an action drama film, titled Vettaiyan, produced by Lyca Productions.

Vettaiyan is one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year and the makers have locked the October 2024 release date in multiple languages. While the exact date is not revealed yet, reports say that the film will hit big screens on October 31st on the occasion of Diwali.



The film boasts a solid star cast which also includes legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Ritika Singh, among others. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh and it is his second back-to-back film with Rajinikanth after mega-blockbuster Jailer.

Meanwhile, superstar Rajinikanth will next be teaming with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalaivar 171, for which, the title will be revealed on April 22. It will be produced by Sun Pictures and the shoot will start soon.
