Superstar Salman Khan Joins Megastar Chiranjeevi In 'Godfather'

Hyderabad, March 16 - Two of the biggest superstars of India, Salman Khan, and Chiranjeevi are all set to thrill the audiences together for the first time. On Wednesday (March 16), the Bollywood superstar has joined Chiranjeevi for the shoot of "Godfather", which is the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster "Lucifer".

Salman will be seen reprising the role of Prithviraj from the original movie. He has an extended cameo which he was agreed to do upon the request of Megastar Chiranjeevi, who plays the lead role stepping into the shoes of superstar Mohanlal.

"Godfather" is being directed by Mohan Raja, which marks his first collaboration with the megastar. Nayanthara is said to be the leading lady of the film, for which, her role has reportedly been given a significant space unlike Manju Warrior's in the original film.

The movie is jointly produced by Mega Super Good films and Konidela Production Company. Thaman S to compose the music of the film.
