Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Gets Targeted Over A No-Harm X Post
Mumbai, December 31 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been targeted for praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for the media and entertainment sector, supporting the upcoming World Audio Visual Entertainment (WAVES) 2025 summit.
WAVES is a revolutionary step in the Indian entertainment sector and Shah Rukh Khan rightfully praised this move by PM Modi. However, many people on social media platform X objected to this no-harm post and called out the actor for tweeting in support of WAVES but not on the recent demise of the former PM Dr Manmohan Singh.
Here is what Shah Rukh Khan posted on X - "It is with great anticipation that I look forward to WAVES - a film and entertainment world summit - to be held in our country itself. An occasion that celebrates our industry and acknowledges the role it plays in the Indian economy as well as its strength as a soft power… and above all, an occasion that champions and fosters creativity!!! @narendramodi ji".

Many of his followers are upset with SRK that he didn't tweet on the demise of Dr Manhmohan Singh but is praising PM Modi's move. They are calling for boycotting his films and unfollowing him on social media for this move. However, King Khan has often mentioned on different platforms that he would least bother about what people think of him on social media as it is his right to say whatever he wants to say on social media.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in director Sidharth Anand's action thriller, King which begins filming in March/April 2025. In 2023, the actor delivered three huge blockbusters in the form of Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki which collectively grossed over 2500 crores at the worldwide box office.
