Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Tops Global Asian Celebrity List of 2023

Mumbai, December 16 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan tops the list of the top 50 most influential Asian celebrities in this year's edition of the popular list, published annually by UK-based Eastern Eye newspaper.

The Indian legend has had an incredible year on the professional front with two back-to-back huge box-office successes in the form of Pathaan and Jawan, and this led him to rank ahead of international stars from global cinema, television, the music industry, arts, literature, and social media.



The superstar had no release in the last 4 years since 2018 and reclaimed the top spot in Bollywood in 2023 with two mega hits and a potential one more in the form of Dunki, scheduled to release on December 21st. The history-making superstar is the first Indian actor to have two 1000+ crores grossers in a single year.

Alia Bhatt takes the second spot on the list for work in Indian cinema, Hollywood, business and being a strong role model for working mothers. Alia has been one of the most successful Indian stars since the COVID-19 pandemic and has become the most bankable Bollywood actress.

The third-placed Priyanka Chopra Jonas was once again the most famous Indian on the planet and carried on breaking ground internationally, including with big budget series Citadel, Hollywood film Love Again, humanitarian work and lighting up the red carpet at international events.
