Superstar Yash Gets Offered Raavan's Role In Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana'

Mumbai, January 28 - Director Nitesh Tiwari has been working on the ambitious epic "Ramayana" with producer Madhu Mantena for a long time now. The makers have spent enough time in the pre-production work to bring this epic to the big screen and are also in talks with actors to play the main characters.

It has been reported on multiple occasions that Ranbir Kapoor is the first choice to play the role of Lord Ram and he is almost confirmed. Now, the blockbuster news emerged that the makers are in talks with superstar Yash for the role of Raavan and he has reportedly loved the pre-visualization of the epic.



Yash has established himself as one of the most bankable actors in the country with two back-to-back big blockbusters in the form of KGF films. He has been in the discussion with multiple filmmakers across industries to set up his next and one of them is "Ramayana", which might be his next.

"Yash wants to do a spectacle and is planning his game with a certain vision in mind. Yash is mighty impressed with the pre-visualization of the film and has been doing meetings with the team of Ramayana. He will be taking a call on his immediate next film within the next 2 months", Pinkvilla reports.

It is said that Nitesh Tiwari and Madhu Mantena are keen to get Yash on board the film and are having serious discussions with him. The makers have planned to the movie on floors by summer 2023 if Yash agrees to come onboard the epic.
