Tanhaji Emerged As A Big Winner, Heading Towards 200 Crore Mark

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior A biographical period action film, starring Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and, Kajol has been doing wonders at the box office ever since it was released and tremendously peaking at its destined phase. The film gets released on 10th January 2020 and minting much then the expectation, While the story is known for various creative opportunities that have been taken to arrest the attention of the audiences.

Talking about Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior's business at the box office, well, it is becoming the first choice for the moviegoers and heading towards blockbuster after getting massive response from the audiences. The movie opened with fairly 15.10 Cr. India net. However, the opening day proved to be just a trailer as the movie got great reviews and later, it creates havoc at the box office with increasing footfalls.



The opening weekend of Tanhaji gave an idea of how well it is going to do further as it collected 61.75 Cr India net in the first three days. Due to Shakranthi, the fifth and sixth day was bigger than the opening day where it earned 15.28 Cr and 16.72 Cr India net respectively. Tanhaji had a brilliant opening week with 118.91 Cr India net.

It didn't hold back in the second week also. On its second Saturday (Day 9) and Sunday (Day 10), it performed exceptionally well and earned 16.36 Cr and 22.12 Cr India net respectively. So far in the second week, Tanhaji has earned 71.87 Cr approx* India net whereas it's first 13 days collection is 190.78 Cr approx* India net.

Going with the current trend, Tanhaji will surely become Ajay Devgan's highest collection movie ever while it may earn 230 Cr India net lifetime. It has done well in the international arena as well with approx* 26 Cr in the first 13 days.



In his 100th movie, Ajay Devgn as Tanaji Malusare is getting upraised in his bravery Maratha warrior role has stolen the heart of audiences. He is known to issue the bold roles in his movies and pour the efforts that he could deliver whether it's being with Rajkumar Santoshi's biopic The Legend of Bhagat Singh or Rohit Shetty's Singham installment.

The story of Om Raut directed Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is sustained by the revolving story of great Tanaji Malusare who served as a military leader of Sivaji and promised his dying father to attempts to recapture the Kondhana fort from Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
