Thalapathy 66 Is Titled 'Varisu'; Stylish First Look Out

Chennai, June 21 - Thalapathy Vijay will be returning on Pongal 2023 to rule the box office again with his next film, titled "Varisu". Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the first look poster along with the title of the film was unveiled a day before Thalapathy Vijay's birthday.

The first look poster of "Varisu" presented Thalapathy in a stylish look. This one is looking completely different from Thalapathy's previous films. It is touted to be an action drama billed on strong emotions.

The movie is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead while Prakash Raj, R. Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, and Jayasudha feature in supporting roles. S Thaman has scored the music.

The shooting of the film is currently underway and it will be hitting worldwide theaters on Pongal 2023 in Tamil and Telugu.
