Thalapathy 67: Prithviraj Sukumaran In Talks To Play Villain In Thalapthay Vijay-Starrer
Chennai, August 12 - Director Lokesh Kangaraj, who is fresh from the mega-blockbuster Vikram, is currently working on the pre-production work of Thalapathy 67, which is touted to be the biggest film of his career. The Thalapathy Vijay-starrer is gearing up to start filming by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized but the names of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sanjay Dutt, and Trisha Krishnan have surfaced online regarding joining the cast. Now, according to Only Kollywood, the makers are definitely in talks with Mayalayam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran to play a villain in the movie.
According to the reports, Sukumaran liked the script and is speaking to the team for further developments to come on board the movie officially. The official announcement regarding the same could be made in September. Seven Screen Studio will reportedly produce the movie which will be made on a huge scale and budget.
Prithviraj Sukumaran was recently seen in "Kaduva", which became a big hit and grossed over 50 crores worldwide. The actor is next gearing up for the release of the romantic comedy-drama "Gold", scheduled for the Onam festival release. The movie marks Alphonse Puthren's return to direction after six years since the release of Premam. Prithviraj will also be doing Prabhas-fronted "Salaar".
