Thalapathy 69: The Remake/Adaptation Of A Telugu Movie?
Chennai, October 3 - After the success of The Greatest of All Time, Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up to commence his next film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69 which has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. It will be directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions.
The emotions of the fans are attached to Thalapathy 69 as it is potentially the final film of the superstar before his political entry. Meanwhile, as the movie is gearing up to commence filming soon, the buzz regarding it making rounds in the Tamil media which has created panic among Vijay's fans.
As per the rumours on social media, T69 is either the remake or an adaptation of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu movie Bhagavanth Kesari which was released in October last year and was a box office hit. The buzz regarding the same is strong though the official confirmation has not been made yet.
Over the last few years, Vijay has been doing original films which have been highly successful at the box office. The fans expect him to follow the same route of doing mass entertainers and that's the reason the latest buzz about T69 is disappointing for the fans.
Meanwhile, the makers have announced the star cast of T69. Actress Pooja Hegde has been confirmed to play the female lead while Bobby Deol roped in to play the antagonist role. Malayalam sensation Mamitha Baiju along with Gautham Menon, Priyamani, and Narain have also joined the cast.
