Thalapathy Vijay To Quit Movies After 'Thalapathy 69'
Chennai, February 2 - Thalapathy Vijay has officially announced his entry into politics and with this, the actor has confirmed that he is quitting movies after his 69th film.
The Tamil superstar is currently shooting for director Venkat Prabhu's "The Greatest of All-Time (GOAT)". The movie has completed more than 50% of the total shoot and as per reports, it is gearing up for release in June this year.
After GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay will do one more film before competently focussing on politics. While the official announcement is yet to be made, it is said that "RRR" producers DVV Entertainment will be bankrolling Vijay's next film which is expected to start rolling immediately after GOAT.
Vijay is at the peak of his career as he recently scored his biggest grosser in the form of "Leo". It is unlikely the actor will return to movies after his 69th film, as hinted by Vijay himself in a statement regarding his political entry.
